Cookie policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on koratyn.com, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences. The text has been drafted in accordance with the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority and in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Last updated: 20 July 2026 · Data controller: Koratyn s.r.l. · Version: 3.0

2. Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected via cookies on this site is:

Koratyn s.r.l.
Viale Virgilio 20/D — 74121 Taranto (TA), Italy
VAT no. 02993520739 · REA TA-184771
Email: info@koratyn.it
Tel: 099 991 5404

To exercise your rights under the GDPR or for privacy-related queries, please write to info@koratyn.it . For full details on processing purposes, please consult the privacy policy.

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing of data collected via cookies is based on different legal grounds depending on the type:

  • Technical cookies: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller in ensuring the correct functioning of the site) and Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (exemption from consent).
  • Marketing cookies (Google Ads, including Google third-party cookies) and analytics cookies (if activated): Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (explicit consent of the data subject, given via the cookie banner).

5. Retention period

The duration of each cookie is indicated in the table in section 3. In summary:

  • Session cookies are deleted automatically when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies have a defined duration (up to 1 year for technical cookies; from 90 days up to about 13 months for marketing cookies), after which they are automatically removed from the device.
  • The consent given in the banner is stored for 6 months, as recommended by the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines. After this period, the banner reappears to allow a new informed consent to be given.

6. Third-party cookies

When you enable the "Marketing" category, the site sets third-party cookies from Google (on the google.com / doubleclick.net domains) as part of the Google Ads conversion tracking described in section 3.3. If you do not enable that category, no third-party cookie is installed.

Links to external platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp) present on the pages are simple HTML links that, until the user clicks on them, do not result in any data being transmitted to those parties.

Once a link is clicked, the user leaves koratyn.com and is on a third-party site, whose data processing and cookie policies are governed by their respective privacy notices.

7. How to manage cookies from your browser

In addition to the consent banner on this site, you can control the installation of cookies directly from your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • view cookies already installed;
  • block the installation of all cookies or only third-party ones;
  • delete existing cookies selectively or entirely;
  • set automatic deletion when the browser is closed.

Below are links to the official guides of the main browsers:

Please note: disabling technical cookies may cause certain site features to stop working correctly (e.g. login, cart, preferences).

8. Your rights

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you may exercise the following rights over your personal data collected via cookies at any time:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of the data.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): request the deletion of data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): request the suspension of processing in specific cases.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7): withdraw at any time any consent given for non-technical cookies.
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77): lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
